Single-Arm Gantry, Two Machines (S Series)
X-axis 6 M — one gantry serves two CNC lathes at the same time, so the cost carried by each machine falls clearly.
Single-Arm Gantry, Two Machines (S Series), in short
It is a single-arm gantry robot with an X-axis effective travel of 6 M, long enough to load and unload two CNC lathes on one line. Payload comes in the same three steps as the rest of the gantry range: ≤0.5 / ≤2 / ≤5 KG per workpiece on S05 / S10 / S20, with X-axis repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.03 MM on S05 and S10 and ±0.08 MM on S20, and a standard machine of L4500 × W1200 × H3800. One loading unit and one feeding system are shared by both machines, which is what lowers the cost per machine; the two machines can run two operations in sequence or the same operation in parallel (figures from the company brochure).
What decides the choice
The short version, before the full specification table.
One unit, two machines
X-axis effective travel 6 M: the beam is long enough to span two machines standing on one line.
Payload in three steps
≤0.5 / ≤2 / ≤5 KG per workpiece on S05 / S10 / S20.
Speed and accuracy
X-axis fastest movement 2 M/S on S05 and S10, 1.5 M/S on S20; X-axis repeat positioning accuracy ±0.03 MM and ±0.08 MM respectively.
Z-axis travel
Z-axis effective travel 1.2 M on S05 and S10, 1.5 M on S20.
Cost carried by each machine
The gantry beam and the feeding system are shared by both machines, so the cost per machine is clearly lower than two single-machine units.
The layout is measured first
The distance between the two machines and any height difference affect the beam design, so both are measured on site at proposal stage.

Single-arm gantry, two machines, S series · full specifications (from the company brochure). Specifications as stated in the product brochure; final configuration depends on the application.
What the system is made of
A loading system is assembled from units; which ones are used follows from the workpiece and the process.
Gantry structure
Single-arm beam on columns, sized to span two machines; drive is a servo motor with precision rack and pinion and a Shimpo reducer from Japan.
Feeding unit
Belt feeding, point-matrix trays or a rotary storage magazine — whichever matches the workpiece and the batch; the brochure lists one belt-type, one point-matrix and one rotary one-to-two form.
End-of-arm gripper
Integrated gripper or servo gripper, as listed for the gantry range; the imported one-piece gripper routes air and wiring inside the body.
Machine-side items
The automatic door, chip blowing and clamp signal of the lathes are the machine-side items a two-machine unit has to work with.
Machines this system fits
Fit is decided by the machine structure, the door, the chuck and the loading window as much as by the workpiece.
Two CNC lathes
Automatic loading and unloading on two lathes: single- or two-station production.
Distance and height difference
The two machines have to stand along one line with a spacing inside the travel, and any height difference affects the beam design — both are measured on site.
Fit check
A fit assessment looks at eight dimensions: machine structure, door type, chuck design, turret position, loading window, workpiece size, machine spacing and cycle time.

Configuration options
One series is built in several forms according to the machine type, the feeding method and the number of machines linked; the forms below come from the company brochure. The configuration in a project is set by the application.

The form illustrations come from the company brochure. They show the structural differences between the forms and are not a commitment to one model.
Configuration and notes
Where it fits
Automatic loading and unloading on two CNC lathes (single- or two-station production).
Difference from the single-machine unit
X-axis travel rises from 2.4 – 3.0 M to 6 M, and the longer beam is what lets it span two machines.
Selection reminder
The distance between the two machines and any height difference affect the beam design, so they are measured on site at proposal stage.

Frequently asked questions
A two-machine unit or two single-machine units?
When the loading unit and the feeding system are shared, the two-machine unit carries a lower cost per machine; it does require the two machines to stand along one line with a spacing inside the travel.
Is there a limit on the distance between the two machines?
X-axis effective travel is 6 M, and the usable spacing is that figure minus the clearance the unit itself needs. It is measured on site at proposal stage.
Can a two-machine unit be extended to three machines?
Where the workshop layout allows it, the multi-machine gantry (X-axis 7.5 M) is the route to take.
